Hadn't played D3 in years but came back at the end of S19 - ended up playing WW Barb until paragon 1200 or so. They definitely have a target number and I doubt they'll reach that.Semi-experienced player here, looking for clans/groups to play S20 with, Americas server (PC). I wouldn't be surprised if this game fails in terms of profits for Blizzard. It is hilarious how much they argue in Blizzards favour because they are blinded. And those people now don't mind the low number of Aspects and Uniques, like as if it wasn't a core gameplay system. These were the ones who criticized the low number of Aspects and Uniques, but they argued it is for "Beta" and that we probably get double the number on release. I have a discord with plenty of hardcore players (not the mode) who were looking forward to it for years and followed the development very tightly. I already paid 100 bucks (well I actually paid nothing, but had the 100 bucks version). I expect quality already on release, because that is 1.0. Half the player base (or so it feels like) thinks the game hasn't lived up to its potential. I mean, I played the closed beta back in Oct. From character builds and skills to lore and theories, we have it all covered.
